CH. KARABU TRI'D N TRU O'KHAMSIN .

Boka, owned by Jeff and Kathy Hupy, finished with four majors at just under 16 months of age.  He and sister "Ceyson" finished on the same memorable weekend.
 

 CH. KARABU KHAMSIN SIGNET CEYSON

Ceyson, owned by Brenda Cassell, was Winner's Bitch from the Puppy Class at the 1988 BCOA National Specialty and finished with four majors and four major reserves.  Also see her in "The Temple of Ra"

 CH. KARABU LOOK WHO'S TALKING

Stormy, owned by Bill and Jane Chadwell, finished with three majors and won a highly competitive 6-9 month Puppy Bitch Class at the 1994 BCOA National. She is the dam of two champions with others pointed.

 CH. KARABU LOOKS LIKE A TOP GUN

Gunner, also owned by the Chadwell's, finished before he ever became fully
ring-trained at 10 months of age with three majors.  In the few times
entered as a "Special" he managed to win two group placements.  Also see him  in "The Temple of Ra".  Gunner was lost early and tragically to cancer and left a void felt by us all. 

CH. KARABU EBONY CHARMER TAMBUTU

Tambu, owned by Thelma Cobb, was awarded Best of Breed and a Best Opposite Sex over specials on the way to his title.

 CH. KARABU THE PRINCE OF TIDES

Vinnie took second in Open Tri at the 1997 National at 7 months of age and
was Best Opposite in Sweeps at the 1998 D/FW Specialty.  He finished with
three majors and is currently being Specialed by handler Ronda Lee and is
ranked among the top Basenjis in the Nation.  He resides here at Karabu and makes sure life is never dull!

 CH. KHAMSIN KARABU SHARPER IMAGE

Beemer is our Veteran Boy now but was a super-puppy that I acquired from
Khamsin Kennels in 1990.  He finished with four majors and a Breed over
Specials and a Group 4 all before the age of 11 months!  He is quite the
gentleman and a joy to live with!

 CH. BERIMO FAST TIMES AT KARABU

Chase also resides here at Karabu but was acquired from Pat Marshall of
Berimo Kennels when I spotted her at a show in Corpus Christi and decided she had to come home with me!  She finished easily and is the ultimate in Basenji personality with her kissing and constantly wagging tail!

Tut is owned by Bill and Sandy Shirley and was a delight to show with his
laid-back, easy-going personality and wonderful movement.  He was awarded a Breed over specials and Group 3 on the way to his title.

Kuntach was my first home-bred Champion (co-bred and owned by the Roberts) and gave us many thrills including winning Best Puppy in Sweeps at the 1988 BCOA National and finishing at 10 months with 3 majors. 

KARABU MADE YOU LOOK

Looker was one of those blessed puppies that seemed to know how to show with very little training and he quickly picked up both majors, major reserves and Best Opposite in Sweeps at the 1995 D/FW Specialty before moving to California to be the constant companion of Mark Chadwell, our webmaster.  It was a move I never regretted as these two were made for each other!  He was lost in a tragic accident February 13, 2000 at the young age of 6  and is dearly missed by us all.  See him in "The Temple of Ra"

CH. KARABU FOR PETE'S SAKE

Red is owned by Craig and Melody Beuchaw and  picked up a five-point major his first weekend out handled by Ronda Lee.  He managed to win a two more majors on the way to his title and finished late in 1999.

CH. BORA K'GANA UNDENIABLY KHAMSIN

Jordan was co-bred by Erin Roberts (KHAMSIN) and Brenda Cassell (SIGNET).  Jordan finished quickly and took third in the HUGE 6-9 month puppy class at the 1993 National at just barley 6 months old.
